Installation FAQs
Many SPC and LVT products include a pre-attached pad. If yours doesn’t, an approved underlayment can improve sound absorption, help with minor subfloor unevenness, and add comfort. Avoid “double-padding” (extra foam under a product that already has a pad) and always follow the product’s instructions—especially for moisture/vapor barriers over concrete slabs.
